Hi Folks,

i need someone or some advice how to get this bench, Klick for the Link, as cheap as possible from Crossville Tennesee to a Warehouse in Houston Texas.
From there it would go my Hometown in Germany. But that would be the easy part.
I need this Bench!
Thanks for any Help

Peter

hmmm...it's a small world...i live in crossville :)

I could transport it, but i don't know what to charge for something like that, and it be worth my time...It would be 1800 miles round trip :(

If you have a point of contact (POC) and mailing address to someone in Houston, the guy selling the seat could: unbolt the seatbacks and rails underneath; box everything up; and ship it via United Parcel Service (UPS) or the US Mail to the POC you provide. If it's too heavy for one big box (probably so), ship pieces separately...bench, hardware and rails in one box(they will fit under the seat in the box), and seat backs in a 2nd box or indiviually in a 2nd and 3rd box.

Dako has the right idea. Shipping it USPS is cheap and pretty reliable. Shipping via Amtrak is another option. I shipped a whole pallet of gear across the country on Amtrak and it was amazingly cheap. Only issue is if Amtrak even goes from TN to TX... which you'd have to look into. The other option is to try uship.com. This site is basically a place where you post what you want shipped, from where to where, and shippers bid on your job. I had a motorcycle delivered from SEA to SFO for less than $600 and it arrived just fine, so I know it can work. Good luck!

I hear a lot of people say Greyhound bus lines is cheap.

Separating the seat backs from the bottom may help make the overall package smaller to fit within size limits. Just a thought.
