Hello ,had my headliner installed couple of weeks ago ,got my windshield back in this weekend .Trying to install the inside trim we’re headliner and windshield were rear view mirror is ,they took those clips out that pop in the frame ,having trouble getting clips to stay in Evertome I try to pup moulding up one of the clips fall out ,any ideas

You did squeeze the center correct so they stay in the holes? Not being an *** just making sure. The hole is pretty big that they slide into, so ensuring a good squeeze on that center ear is a must.

Thanks I’ll give it another shot tonight last pc to put up ,had to walk away clips keep falling out from weight of moulding before I could catch the screws in ,thought I was missing something thanks

Yea some of the repop ones suck I have heard. I was able to save the originals on mine.

I know this is an old thread, but just went through this and wanted to add my 2 cents. The repops are junk and break super easy, BUT I found the trick to making them work! The repop metal is hard which is why they are breaking. If you take a propane torch and heat the repop clips cherry red and then let the slow cool, it anneals the metal making it soft and bendable like the originals. Works like a charm!!!!
