my 69 super bee has new inner rear tubs.

the trunk lid now is slightly to the drivers side.

how do i adjust it to fit in the center with equal gaps to the rear quarters ??

Do you mean move it over more than the oversize bolt holes on the hinges will allow?

Find someone you believe is competent and trusts you and put them in the trunk with a flashlight and socket wrench and shut it. Tell them to loosen the bolts - then shove and position the trunk lid to where it needs to be and tell them to tighten the bolts.

Then let them out.

If there's more to it than this due to the new wheel tub work then never mind.

I'm reading something else in this post. Do you mean that the trunk lid fits flush with the rear quarter panels, dutchman panel, etc. BUT the gap between the trunk lid & the rear quarter is larger on the passenger side than on the driver side? Like it's flush, but shifted left (as you look at it from the back)?

If that's what you mean, then you might have to add some body shim up inside the holes in the bottom of the trunk lid where the hinges slide inside to "space" it over. Now that I think about it, you'd have to put spacers between the hinge and trunk lid on the driver's side. On the passenger side, you might have to see if there's a way to space the hinge itself over a little bit (where it bolts up inside the trunk)?

That's what I mean purple. Some how it shifted left looking from the rear.

Open it, and push it towards the passenger side. That's how the factory adjusted them.
