Trunk lid separating

Hey there I’ve got a trunk lid for another Mopar that is separating from its inner structure. Should I just tack weld it back together or use some body glue or something similar to factory?

Definitely use some body glue. Tack welding would warp the top of the trunk lid

That is not separating, it looks factory like that. They used daubs of putty so it wouldn't make any noise. Do not weld that.

Do you know of an equivalent putty? It is quite noisy without most the putty there.
