Tried over in the 62-65 forum, no joy. Thought I'd try here
It was a GOOD day! Finally found my fender tag for my Polara 500! Need help decoding.
A=5 F=1 H=1 M=3 N=8 P=1 T=8 W=2
so=1109 #0216 BDY=642 TRIM=P4T PNT=WN
Thanks in advance, Rene'

Rene';are Plymouth codes the same as Dodge? If so,I may have some info(I also have my build sheet for reference) to help you. Got to dig it out. Someone else here may beat me to it;no problem. Good luck!

I have no idea lol. I would guess all 64's would be the same. Thanks for looking. Rene'

A=5 sales code 345= automatic transmission
F=1 361 AM radio
H=1 381 A/C with heater
M=3 Unknown
N=8 Unknown
P=1 Unknown
T=8 48 Amp battery
W=2 Sold car/expedite (sombody ordered it and was waiting for delivery)
so=1109 #0216 Sales Order 1109 = Scheduled production date of November (11) 9th (09) (1963) 0216 = rest of order number
BDY=642 6= Dodge V8 4 = Polara 500 2 = two door hard top
TRIM=P4T Interior trim code P=Premium with bucket seats 4 = seats are vinyl T = Tan in color
PNT=WN Are you sure the is the correct code? I'm not sure N is a valid paint code. If N is a valid code then it should read WN2. WW would be White.
.

69-- Thanks, pretty sure on the wn, will look tomorrow. Didn't all Polara 500's come with 383's minimum? Rene'

I don't think so. That's why you do not have an optional engine coded on the tag.

Thanks for your post. I think the pre 68 stuff is harder to decode. The first one to do a book on 62-65 or 68 will sell me one for sure. I have looked, but have not found the one for early years yet. The my mopar dot com site is wonderful, but does not answer all when it comes to early stuff.
