Someone gave me a cam for a B block engine, they had on the shelf for years didn't know what it was, its a new cam trying to figure out what it is. It has RPD 11 stamped on the gear end with 891005 stamped below that the 89 is not stamped very deep but I'm sure that's what it is. I used my dial caliper and came up with .296 lobe lift that would make about .445 valve lift. Has red paint on the gear end and white paint on the rear. I have searched using these numbers and can't come up with anything. anyone know what it is.

It is a camshaft that you should scrap. Phantom parts like this are best set aside unless you like taking unnecessary chances. It could be a solid or a hydraulic. Try installing it and take a chance that you have the right lifters....What would you have gained? A new cam is as cheap as $150 plus lifters. Why risk it?

Sounds like a stock replacement or RV grind, but like Kern says, why bother unless you know 100%. Keep in mind that very early 413's used a solid cam with lifts in the .430-.450 range.

I didn't know sealed power marketed cams but the box the lifters are is marked sealed power. so it might be?

Found it, Its an old wolverine blueracer cam, looks to be fairly mild grind. 270 intake exhaust 280 dur. .448 intake and .472 exhaust. lift.
