Okay, here's an odd problem my father-in-law is having with his 69 Super Bee. He has owned the car for about 2 months, with no electrical problems up till now. On the last trip out, he noticed that neither side of the turn signals work. To make matters worse, if he does flip the turn signal either way, then the brake light on that side does not work. Both brake lights work if the turn signal lever is not flipped. To make matters even more weird, the hazards work when the hazard switch is flipped, but they do not work if the driver's door is open. Does this sound like more of a grounding issue, or turn signal switch in the column, or a little of both?

My first thought is the turn signal switch since the brake lights run through it. Hazards stop when the driver's door is open? What about the turn signals when the door is open?

Turn signals do not work at all, except when all 4 flash with the hazard switch. Definitely leaning towards the TS Switch. Does anyone happen to have the current replacement part number for that?

Are there 2 flasher modules under the dash in a 69 B Body? I just spoke with a guy with a Challenger who had the exact same problem that we are having, and he told me there were 2 flashers, one for the hazards (which are working) and one for the turn signals. He replaced the one for the turn signals and everything was fine. He said one was in the middle behind the ashtray, and the other was just to the right of the steering column.

Def. two flashers. da one behind da ashtray is for da hazards, da one behind da column is for the TS. i had kinda da same prob w my 68 GTX, TS didn't work, flashers did, brake lights did and the ammeter had a slight flickering to it. after a week of chasing wires and ohming them out, I found that the wiper motor was the culprit!!! i changed da TS switch (the one in the steering column) (wanted to anyway, cause on right turns it did not pop back, one of the legs was busted) and da flasher for da TS, and unplugging the wiper motor and poof! everything worked!!! been workin for a couple weeks now, no probs. (stil gotta figure out exactly where the wiper motor is drawing) wierd for the door to be involved tho... body ground?? steering column to dash ground??
