Tuff Stuff alternators

Anyone using the tuff stuff one wire alt with the built on regulator? Looking at getting the 100 amp one.

Got one in my car..Works great..I, m runnin hid headlights,car stereo with 4 speakers and a 10 inch sub with a 750 watt amp...Everything works great...Used summits aluminum alternator bracket with a march pulley..Runs a solid 14.5 volts ..Had to get rid of my amp guage and put in a volt meter..Used madenterprises kit for the wiring...The stock setup just couldn,t keep up...

I saw a detail once that showed using #6 AWG wire for a 100 amp alt? lol that is pretty thick, what gauge is yours? My amp gauge has already been de-wired by the previous owner he had electrical problems and just bypassed everything. Can't keep my battery charged at idle at all with the 440source alt it doesn't say but I am sure it's 35-45 amps and wont charge at idle. I have at least a 10 awg wire from the batt to alt already was going to give that a try.
