will sandblasting rmv this from frames?

I use a small mapp gas torch- light heat and a wire brush takes it off easily. wear gloves, long sleeves, safety glasses, and a respirator. Don't put too much heat on the floorpans, just enough to loosen the undercoating.

Nope, typically can't sandblast the undercoating off. Need to scrape it off. I have used both a heat gun and a gas torch. Gas torch as mentioned above works better.

Yup, there's no easy way to remove the undercoating Johnny. It's a dirty messy job that we all have our kids do. LOL

I've used an air hammer with a flat chisel end. Use a pressure regulator to keep the blows down on the hammer. This works well if the undercoat has dried out. It just flakes off like tree bark.

It's not rubberized....it oil/tar based....

Soak with diesel fuel first to loosen and then scrapper. Oil mix works well also, if nicely oiled and soaked can also use pressure washer to remove.
