Mine should be arriving in a few days. Then I will install the subframe connectors and any other pieces that need the weight of the car on its wheels. After that, it will be time for to start the teardown. In a way, it is kind of sad, because everything on the car works now, but sometimes you have to take steps backwards in order to move ahead...

He came on that forum & basically told everyone so what after he took money for preorders on a part for 66-7 Chargers Roughly $15k total

He's tried using a sham company to avoid paying up All investors answering said that he never mentioned that company when taking their $$$$

That's why I wouldn't buy from them. It would make real leery.

He fired a man who could have helped him make $$$$ for suggesting that he do the right thing & give the man his $275 back
This triggered a post where John was a member & sponsor. John took a week or so to even answer By that time another investor or two came out with the same experience

His sponsorship was refused by the owner of the forum A very large Mopar forum a bunch of members here are members there too

Cant satisfy everyone. But I was satisfied with their sales & service. I will make more purchases from them in the future. They sell good products at a FAIR price in my opinion.

It wasn't that no one was satisfied He took $15K & never provided a service or product from those customers & then said that it was an investment not a purchase

He paid a few of his buddies but said the hell with the others Is that how you do business? Do you condone his ripping people off? According to others this isn't the first time either

He refunded my deposit no problem and had good luck with them. I bought their K-frame stand, body wheels, and frame connectors. All of these products have been top notch and I have been very happy with their service.

Obviously you got burned and are not happy about it - I don't blame you one bit.

Having said that, I ordered the frame stiffening kit, it was shipped out next day, and it arrived 4 days after I ordered it. The pieces seem to be well made and come with good instructions. I have not installed them, but a quick mock up looks like they will fit nicely. They look like a good product for a fair price.

I don't know the full story with what happened previously, and I am not trying to defend (or not) US Car Tool ...just trying to relay my experience.

I quit dealing with John when they took my card# ran it saying my parts were in stock & that they would be shipped that day

The parts weren't even built yet when they ran the card & gave me a "You're card can't be credited for 10 business days when I found out they lied That was almost 10 years ago

If you read the thread in archive over at Moparts you will see what kind of business mentality he has
Members there quoted his posts so he couldn't edit them
His fab man who is actually the brain there is a great guy I'm not knocking his quality
One well known Mopar man(Herb McCandless) who was working with him, ditched him because of the bad publicity

I had a pleasant experience dealing with them. I ordered the radiator support stiffener after reading about this discount. I then decided to order the inner fender support brackets and the website wouldn't let me apply the discount again. I called, and they applied the discount and shipped me the parts. Somewhere during the phone call, we got our numbers mixed up and I ended up with two core supports and no inner fender supports.

I called them this morning and discussed what happened and they are sending the inner fender supports and a return tag for the extra radiator support....and not charging me the difference between the two. In my opinion, they are giving me the $20 difference plus probably $15 in shipping just to make me happy....and I am. I would buy from them again.
