Interesting but the F-16 don't care if it's raining or anything. Full throttle, afterburner and it's gone. 20 years Air Force and I spent a whole lot of time around this airplane, it is awesome. Don't get me wrong, I have never driven a Hellcat but I believe it is awesome also. Someday I might own a Hellcat but I know I will never own an F-16. Enjoy

When I was in VP-5 we had a hangar queen, LA-6, that was a real turd. It was one of those planes that always had issues and would break down, or was always getting robbed for parts, and if it weren't for having to fly every 45 days or so it would never fly. My roommate had a Superbird and he was always challenging the skipper to a race... the skipper in LA-6 on the runway and Clay in his Superbird on the taxiway, but we could never make it happen.

Reminds me of Gilles Villeneuve in his Ferrari F1 car vs an F104 Starfighter.

Cool stuff.
