Can one of you more learned gentlemen please tell me if this is a V8 or Slant 6 K Frame in my car? I know those are V8 mounts. However, I got the fender tag cleaned off and according to it, the engine code is a 20, which is a slant 6. Any help is appreciated.

K-frame

It's a factory V-8 K-frame........ small block/ BB same K-frame,
just different steel engine mount's.

Coolness. Then it has been swapped out at some point in time. Less work for me. Thank you drive through. May I ask how you can tell?

The easy way to tell....... is put a straight edge of some kind,
across the top edge's of the K-frame steel bracket stand's that are
welded to the K-frame itself. If they are generally level with each
other, then you have a V-8 K-frame. On a /6 K-frame, the driver's side
stand bracket will be taller, and the pass shorter......... hence the
motor laying more to the passenger side of engine compartment. Hope this help's you some.

Yes, that makes sense. And judging from that picture, it will either be level or the driver's side bracket will be a touch shorter, so I would ceretainly think it's a V8 judging from that. Thanks very much.

The s/6 has a large mount bracket on the drs. side
