Vacuum pumps

Crankcase vacuum pump? Probably not worth the headache of making your own mounts and just buy a kit. Been a few years but a buddy ran a Moroso set up on a 499 and it did good. Seen a couple of electric ones but don't know anything about those.

I have an Aerospace pump on my cuda (572" hemi)...it's a piece of crap. The next time it fails, I'll be replacing it w/ a GZ Motorsports pump. They claim to be the only ones that will last in a street/strip application.
I use a Moroso pump on the Camaro (436" small block) and it's been good, but it's race only.
The electric ones aren't worth the effort. Just use a couple of -10 lines from your valve covers to a breather tank...that's all I have on my Indy headed wedge motor.

I run a GZ. Nice quality stuff. Don't know what it's worth power wise as I've never run w/o it. Motor makes enough to go 9.02@151/3350lbs.

Star Machine is what I run on all my cars. I pull 11 inches of vacuum at idle. This is the Cadillac of Vacuum pumps.
I run their filter/canister also. I'm a dealer for Star if interested.
