Building a 500 ci RB BB & considering running a Vacuum pump, What Pumps are you guys running ? and who's got the best deal ?? Aerospace components are pricey but mite have to bite the bullet

Low-tension rings and a vacuum pump, are good for some power. I've used Moroso pumps in the past.

Moroso and GZ both work well for the money. I run GZ. Star is the Cadillac.

Doug I checked out GZ and these guys seem to be pretty legit, ill give them a call Thank you !!

The nice thing about the GZ is that the vanes don't get gummed up. Mine pulls from the upper front side of the right valve cover. It'll go easy 25 passes and only pull about 1-2oz of oil. Great customer service as well.

I have a Moroso newer style 4 vane on my Hemi. It did not pick up as much power as we were expecting.

Man both of you Boys have spectacular Builds ! Also thank you for the pics absolutely Stunning !!!

Vacuum regulator . Kit comes with every thing. The only aditional part I ordered was the bolt on crank pulley to drive the alternator. I made a larger pulley later so I have that one left over. Excellent shape for sale.

My TTi headers have fittings for evac tubes. Most of my driving is cruising or driving to and from car shows, but on track days, since I went to the aluminum fabbed valve covers I am getting a good bit of oil out of the driver's side breather. PCV valve is good and hooked up to the 6 bbl in stock location, and pulls from the passenger side.
Should I leave the bungs for the evac tubes capped and not use them and go with a vacuum pump instead?

where exactly is your oil coming out of, maybe post a pic I'm more visual Lol ! but I'm thinking just replace what ever breather set up your using, IMO good breathers shouldn't leak, my PCV is on the passenger side and go's to the intake, the driver side breather I just leave open and I get no oil leaks at all.
