Vacuum sealer

I have a Foodsaver. Works great for storing food for the freezer. The bags can be pricey but look for them on sale and only use the foodsaver brand. I tried generic bags and they don’t work as well.

Food savers are good, we’ve worn a few out over the years. Moms68 is right, buy the correct bags. They are noticeably heavier and thicker then knock offs.
The ones we used had a little trap to keep from sucking liquid into the sealer. Keep it clean. Sucking liquid in is the kiss of death to these things.
None of these last forever, though. They simply aren’t commercial grade. That’s fine, but don’t buy a used one at a garage sale or whatever as you have no idea how much of its life it has left.

50 miles! nice ride, and, they do offer tier 1 gas, including premium. and, their gas isnt subject to the quick 20 cent bumps
they're also on da internetz.but, you most likely will have to be a member

I concur on the foodsaver brand. We use it for everything from fresh garden veggies to fresh caught fish. You can even put keepsakes that fit in the bags. Like letters or pictures
