Valve covers.

I thought these valve covers I bought might be old Cal Customs, but there's no markings on them other than a stamp that says JAPAN 779 on the inside. It looks like you can remove the rectangular part in the center to put tall breathers in. The previous owner painted them. Anyone ever seen any similar?

Make sure the gasket flange matches the head before wasting time and money

They came off of a 440 and going onto a 400, they'd better fit lol.​

Did you bother to ask why they were taken off the 440?
As I posted check flange to head pattern. Sure they will bolt on but retain oil maybe.

The guy I bought them from bought a set of Mopar performance covers, had no use for these anymore.
