I am guessing you mean line pressure and not throttle pressure. Because to set throttle pressure on the valve body there is a special tool you need but to set line pressure its just a measurement that is from the valve body to the inner edge of the adjusting nut. The one in my 1989 service manual is 1-5/16" but if you know the year of the trans just look it up to be sure its the same. Most I have done for stock rebuilds I set at the 1-5/16" setting. Ron
Ok, thanks. I guess that's with the throttle valve completely pushed up against the valve body, and 5/8 in between that and the kickdown cam. Is that right?Throttle pressure tool C-3763 measures 5/8" (.625").
