Yummy!
Have a couple !
When I was a kid growing up in RI my Irish grandmother (Nanna) would make us egg nog from scratch.
She'd crack a few raw eggs, whip them, add vanilla flavoring, add cinamom and milk.
If I was real good she'd add some Seagrams Canadian whiskey... : )

Yummy on the Lucerne and Sailor Jerrys spiced rum!
We dont get lucerne down here in SA CAL Pabster...it's Alta Dena

Im from Bama. Can someone explain what eggnog is? What kind of chicken lays it?

Websters Dictionary defines NOG as:
[Origin unknown] (1611) 1. A strong ale formerly brewed in Norfolk, England. 2. [By shortening]

By this reference I'd assume the chicken is (was) drunk on a strong alcoholic brew and laid a egg?

Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary (red Cover)

Bs I had it in florider and texas.Know you got it in la. No not louisiana, lower alabama. Now I want some too. I will settle for some crown in mine.

Iv got the feeling yall are makin fun of me. Is it because Im from Bama? Hey we got some pretty intelligent people here. Even the inventer of the tooth brush is from here. If it were invented anywhere else it would have been called a teeth brush.

Must be a yankee thing. We do have Southern Comfort brand egg nog down here.

Nope, Never heard of Hood eggnog. Out my way I'd say Bud's is about the best I've had. Add a little brandy and nutmeg - OK, a lot of brandy - and I'm good!

Lucerne light is pretty good too but Pabster might want to try Bud's!
