Hello,
I bought my car in crates and boxes etc, so it was dissasembled when I got it. I am having trouble figuring out how the lower mounting point of the vent window (one bolt inside the bottom of the door cavity) attaches. If I am missing a bracket, I am not sure what it looks like... the bottom vent mount is sorta floating by itself with no mouting point nearby. The factory service manual really has no detail. If you can help with pictures or derscription, thank you!

That bottom bolt is covered by some weatherstripping, so just bolt it on and forget it. Bolt head is from the door jam side, so you can adjust it when you start to get stuff aligned. Sorry I don't have pics, that would be alot easier to show you instead of talking my way thru it.

Thanks for the help. So the bottom bolt in this sweet diagram I made bolts to the front side of the door jam (on the front fender side)?

Lower bolt towards the front of the car.

My bad, I screwed the pooch on that one. Disregard my previous post. Your diagram is right, I just checked my window--sorry for the "ah ****".

Good thing breathing is automatic or I'd be screwed, there is a bolt hole down in the bottom of the door, the vent window has the long channel for the "big window" to ride in, so if you put the vent window in place you wiil see where the bolt hole is and you can't mess up---unlike I did trying to help answer your question. Your diagram is on the money!!!!

Thanks man, I appreciate the help, you know what I mean now. I'm going to look at it again but I think I must be missing a part, because there is nothing close to aligning with that lower window channel bolt. Anyhow, thanks!

Those are pretty much the same all the way to 70 and there is a bracket that goes at the bottom.

Cool, thanks a lot Patrick. Time to hunt for some brackets I guess!

Does anyone have a pic of what this bracket looks like? I'm having trouble finding it.
