A few laps in the Belvedere at Willow Springs. This 727TF and low gear set, with 3.23 gears isn't the greatest for racing, but man was it fun in the turns!

Thanks, guys.. yes, it's a lot of fun, especially watching the guy in the Mustang finally realize that he couldn't shake me! I have some plans for more upgrades, and hitting the track again!

Thanks everyone! man it's fun to pass these guys in their modern muscle with my 48 year old car! Last year, I kept catching up to a wide-body Porsche, and this past weekend I was following slow cars and another wide-body Porsche was filling my mirror. Once I was able to go past the slow cars, I took off and checked my mirror and the Porsche couldn't keep up! Of all the times my camera was facing forward.... I need to get another GoPro for next time!

Faster car?

I got news for ya' man. You don't have a faster car. You have a faster driver! You make much better use of the track and the apexes than the other guys... And was that a Dodge Durango you smoked by chasin' that yellow SRT-8 Charger!

THAT RIGHT THERE is what I wanna do! I just ordered a Dynamic TF727 transmission cause of you... I'd really like a 5 speed, but I can buy a new automatic for half the price, and it's obviously workin' ok for you!



She's waiting for the new engine and trans...

Thanks for posting these. Man, your car corners flat. Hard to detect any body roll. I agree that your lines are great. Nothing better than filling their mirrors with your grill in the corners. Anybody can pull the trigger in the straights. Looking forward to seeing more. Imagine what an influx of horsepower could do...

Thanks, I appreciate the comments. Can't wait to see your car hit the track... that car is awesome! That was a magnum behind the yellow Charger, they're friends of mine, as is the guy with the green Challenger towards the end. He's got an Edelbrock supercharger on his car, so he's about twice the RWHP that I have.

This was the second time I have raced this car, I have a Toyota that I've raced about four times, and then 25 years ago I raced autocross about three times. So I guess that's kind of a "not really". haha
