Hello all, I finally got around to installing the Caltracs and sliders on my 67 Belvedere, and got my shock length. I've settled on Viking Crusaders for shocks, and was wondering if there is a preferred vendor I should deal with?

Thanks for any info.

Thank you, I'll have to give them a call, as I don't see the Crusader line of shocks listed on their site. Maybe they have been discontinued?

I'm planning replace the shocks on my 65. Curious as to what sold you on the Crusaders for your 67 and if you're doing all 4?

Are you set on Viking’s? QA1 are equal or if not better. The Viking owners used to work at QA1.

The people who have them seem very happy, and I can't say I've seen a bad review. They aren't cheap, which isn't great on my budget, but my junker stands a very good chance of making quite a bit of power, and I may really need a good shock. I do intend on doing all 4. They don't do a one size fits all, they have a range of lengths to choose from, and
the valving is based on your usage and HP level. I'm trying to do this once if possible, lol.

We offer Vikings. We carry the Warrior, Voyager and Crusader lines. The Crusader line is strictly for track use only. Are you looking at drag valving? If so are you looking at drag high (650 hp plus to the rear wheels) or Drag low (less then 650hp) I should be able to help you. Please PM me and I can get you squared away.

Thanks

This is a very welcome response, thank you! I will get my info together and PM you shortly. This is a mostly street with some strip use play toy, but rear wheel HP should fall in the 750+ zone, so I am having a hard time picking shocks. Thanks again!

A quick follow up; I exchanged a few Email with James from PST, and he set me up with a shock package for my car I think will work perfectly for me, and got me a great price as well. John W in sales was very efficient in processing my order too. It will be a few weeks or longer until I get them as they are made to order, but I will post when they come in.
