1969 Coronet 440. VIN & FenderTag decoded. Here are my two questions:

Scheduled Prod. Date: B12 = Nov.12th. But is that in 1968 or 1969?

Plant: Los Angeles, CA.

Sequence# from VIN: 12xxxx. For example, if it's 125000, then this Coronet is was the 25,000th one built, in total or just at the L.A. plant?

I know it's a '69 vehicle, but around 200k 1969 Coronets (all models) were built, making this one fairly early in the sequence #'s. So I'm leaning towards '68, or am I wrong? New cars come out in the Fall & Early Winter of the prior year, that's why I'm confused, or totally thinking this wrong.

++++++++++

Did some Google searches but no luck. 696pack's post#4 in the below thread, was VERY informative, but I still have my question:

Build date was Nov. 12th, 1968....it's an early car.

it would be the 250,000 car off that line at that plant, if I remember correctly. Many models were made on the same production line.

Thanks, interesting! Well that's a bummer, was hoping my car was born the same year as me, hahaa. It's the 25,000th I think, Since they started with 100001. From here:

They didn't even make 250k total, I don't think. From what I'm reading anyway, here:
