I have a 66 satellite and was wondering if anyone could decode the Vin for me. RP23G61134902. The model is RP23. Looking to c what options and info are. Thanks for any help

The R is Plymouth, P is premium, G is 383 engine,6 is for 66', 1 is build location, (I don't remember where)The lst six is the serial number. Again, Pictures?

I'll post some pictures tomorrow. I have known of this car for about 14 yrs. I picked it up today. It was parked in a old salvage yard under pine trees. I pick it up for the big block 4 speed to put into a 65 Satellite. It has good hood, glass, trim. I'd sell them or trade the stuff for 65 Satellite body parts.

How's the body on the 66?

383-4 barrel 4 speed is kinda rare in 66 and 4 speed is kinda rare in RP Satellite.

383-4 barrel 4 speed is kinda rare in 66
Very true not many around we have a 66' belvedere II 383/4 spd bought it because we had never seen one in a belvedere and this was still back in the early 80's when you could still find stuff! might want to do some digging before you part her out do you have a title for it ??:headbang:

Yes have ohio title for it. It's pretty rough. I'd sell it or trade it for 65 Satellite or bel. Trying to figure out have to post pics.

I can decode the fender tag if it's readable......I would also be interested in the steering wheel if it's not cracked

The combo is rare. My 65 is also originally a 383 4brl 4 speed. Let me know if you part it out as I am looking for a trans and shifter clutch and pedal etc..for a possible conversion back to 4 speed

Doesn't matter how rough it is if it only one of a few made... original motor and trans the rest is easy after that....

I've seen WAY worse get saved.

C pillars look good/saveable.
That's one of the biggest headaches on 66/67.

The quarter and wheel well are available or will work from a 4 door.

If you do part it :( I'm also interested in the 4 speed stuff.

My brother just got rid of a nice dash...

I actually bought it for motor and transfer to put in a 65 Satellite I picked up. I'm going to use all the 4 speed stuff. But will part out rear end and rest of the car or trade stuff for 65 satellite body parts

I'll also post on pic of fender tag. That would be great if someone could decode it for me. Thanks

This is my take on the car. I came across a rare 4 speed car that someone was going to part out and use the 4 speed stuff and some other parts to use on a good car. As soon as i found out about it i made a deal for the rare 71 charger and tracked down the parts that he wanted from the 71 charger so he would not part it out. I also gave him cash for what he was into the car and a few extra parts to seal the deal. I saved a rare car, it was in as bad as shape as yours or worse. Anyways my 2 cents.. Save it if it is saveable. CHEERS

Well if any one wants to make an offer, sell it. I just want a big block 4 speed for my 65 satellite. I will get the fender tag tomorrow so it can be decoded. Thanks a bunch
