Vintage air on factory 426 Hemi?

Does anyone know if it’s possible to put a.c on a 426 Hemi with a factory 2 4barrel intake? I’m restoring a 67 Plymouth gtx that will have a 426 and a 4 speed. The car is black on black so I’m thinking if it’s possible to put ac on the car that I’d like to. If anyone has any experience with this Aby information you can give me would be much appreciated.

Yes, can be done. Local here in Phoenix, Don Petty (Richards cousin) has a 69 hemI Road Runner with aftermarket AC

I put it on my 70 Superbee, 426 Hemi with a BPE set-up, Bouchillion Enterprise

CVF serpentine kit would work, bolts to water pump housing, nothing else

I installed air on the old wagon. It had manual steering, so I used a low-mount setup.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know where I can purchase everything I need to set this up? I spoke with vintage air and they don’t offer the kit for a Hemi engine.

You can buy everything from Vintage Air ( RB stuff)except the engine compressor mount. Get that from BPE.
We did a 64 Barracuda, Got everything from Vintage except the compressor mount.At the time they made nothing for the A body cars. We used their Chevy Nova kit and got BPE's compressor mount.It fit and worked.

If you go with CVF, their kit comes with everything, bolts, compressor, water pump etc.
