anyone have a ballpark idea of the cost of a vinyl roof replacement 69 Coronet 2 dr.

I replaced mine 11 months ago on a 70 coronet r/t. The top came from legendary and was around $169.00, plus another $200.00 for an old vinyl installer to put it on. It came out real nice.
Two boxes of Heineken will do the trick down here in NZ if the prep work is pre-done

Holy Smokes! Installing a vinyl top has never been so much fun!
...I should add you get a better result if the beer is consumed after the top is installed :rolling:

In 1974 I had a new top Installed on my 68' charger in Phoenix for $79.00 material and labor! It took them one hour, assembly line style. And I had just bought the car for $400.00. those were the good old days.

prep should be making sure beer is cold .. 200 labor sounds fair for a job I would never try.....trying to buy this car and adding up expenses ..spotted the top for 169.. about a grand for interior and THEN... paint... and there goes the budget :crybaby2:
