At least we can laugh on the outside, but on the inside it pisses me off to no end.
Since ole Bill Walton did a fine job in the Midwest in destroying the most small town business while he was alive.
His fine family has carried on where he left off at. The only thing they have done different is, they ensure most of their employees are working poor. Most are collecting money from the government assistance for day care, food stamps, and low income housing.
The cashiers are only allowed 32 hours, which does not make them eligible for any benefits such as health care, dental, or 401K and matching. They might have 24 cash registers, but you will be lucky to see a third of them open. At least when he was alive, he ensure the all his employees were given stock and benefits.
I could go on and on how Wal-Mart has destroyed the United States by forcing business to sell their items at their terms to the point they had no other choice but to move their businesses overseas to meet their profitability, or they simple went out of business.
So when you see how we are so indebted to China, you can thank Bill Walton, and now his Billionaire off spring for fueling their economy, and in the assisting in un-employing the blue collar worker here in the United States that use to manufacture the televisions, microwave, rubber maid products, furniture, auto parts...etc.
They will argue that they do employ a lot of people, but it nothing in comparison to the number they have unemployed.
The main office in Bentonville, AR has direct fiber optic lines that go from there to China and to D.C. to their lobbyist. I know this be a fact.
Until we can get some elected officials to invoke tarriff on imported items, so it will be more fessible for business to be more profitable to reopen back up, and to stop the practices that Wal mart has successfully gotten away with simply because they have elected officials in their hip pocket. The US will slowly become a two class society, the working poor and the business owners such as the Waltons.
Ok, My rant is over...
