We had rain after a long dry spell. The weather reporter had to tell people about oil slick roads after a rain.
Just one thing my father taught me. Drying out drum brakes was another.
Vacuum wipers when learning to drive in heavy rain was fun too.
The Volvo Syndrome is real.

My high school wouldn’t let me in their crappy automotive classes . They said I was to smart for trades training. I quit and went to work for the mechanic down the street . No regrets .

I am nearing 80 years old and got my start working for my Dad's auto repair and service station when I was 13 years old. I worked after school and on Saturdays then full time after HS. He taught me so much I worked for him until I went into the Navy as a Machinist Mate. By 16 I was rebuilding engines and building my own hot rods during early 60's. I will always remember the first, a Flathead V8 I built, the first of many engines that followed. I still do some repair work at my shop mostly the grandkids and my own vehicles. I still have a lot of my dad's old tools and think of him every time I use them. That's my 49 Merc. in my avatar I had in 1963.

I feel like this is missing from the bottom of the video:
