Helping a friend look for a 70 road runner or GTX. anything from a project to restored. Some where close to KS or MO.

I have a buddy with a `70 Road Runner for sale in the Detroit area, turn key, red and black but no fender tag. Let me know if Detroit isn't to far and I'll get you in touch with him.

70 runner

well, I'm not exactly close to you, but I do have a pretty decent project car for you. I have a 70 roadrunner that's pretty solid, the only bad spots in the metal are the trunk pan (wasted) and around the bottom of the rear window (better than most but will need some repair). The car was originally a 383 auto bench seat car and is very complete except there is no motor or trans at present. It had a 318 auto in it when I got it, and I have removed it but it does come with the car if you want it. The car also comes with an extra power bulge hood, and it has the original seats, rear end, steel wheels and perforated dog dish hubcaps. All the interior and trim parts are there...the interior will need reupholstered, all the glass is present and good, and the trim is in nice shape...it would just need a good cleaning before reinstalling. If you would like to make it a bucket seat car, I have a console I will toss in the deal for you. I also have all new weatherstripping and dash cap for the car. If you are in need of a drive train I have several nice era correct short and long blocks and trannies we could work a separate deal on. I need $5700 for the car and will help as I can getting it to you. If you are interested, let me know and I'll send you some detailed pics.
