I am looking for at least one..possibly two late 70s 440 Cast Crank Balancers.
I would like it to be useable as is, but would also entertain them if they need to be
re-vulcanized. Let me know what you have. You don't have to remove one from a complete
engine, just looking for something laying around! NOTE: I FORGOT TO PUT IN MY AD, PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE CRANK SNOUT FOR POSSIBLE STRESS CRACKS!! Pic's would be a plus. Thanks for the ad FBBO! Dodge33

Have a clean one, $50 plus shipping. I will get you a picture ASAP

I also have one, engine gone, just got the balancer left, from 1975 440.
If you need it I will do same as above, Ships from NY.

I have one off a '78 RV 440. You can see where some rubber has chunked off on the backside, around the exposed edges. Not sure if that renders it useless though? Inner crank hub surface looks good. Timing seal groove is very slightly noticeable with a fingernail but not bad. It wasn't stuck, pulled off nice and easy...Not the prettiest but free if you want it.

is your in box full ??

This is a thought. 1 of my buddies uses a 400 cast crank balancer on every one of his cast crank 440 builds. These are street car/trucks. He says he hates the look of that big ugly dampner hanging on the front. They don’t seem to vibrate and he drives them everywhere. I told him the 440 dampner I’d that size so it can handle the torsional needs of the longer stroke. It always falls on deaf ears.so I told him to used a forged dampner but he says u can’t do that as it needs the weight so it doesn’t shake apart. Kim

Here ya go. Rubber doesnt look bad. The silver on the inside is anti seize compound from its last build.
