WANTED - Single Non-Repop max wedge air cleaner with lid

I am going to be running a 451 stroker, not a max wedge motor, but I need to keep my hood clearance down since I'm not running a six pack hood and I've always loved the look of the max wedge air cleaners. I have heard the quality of the re-pops are poor. In addition, I can only seem to find them sold in pairs. I only need one and preferably with the bottom hole size modification to accommodate a holley carb. Does anyone have an original max wedge air cleaner with lid that they are willing to part with??

I don't see anything wrong with the quality of the repops and I have two sets. You can buy just the lid through the crossram connection. What are you told the issues with them are?

I've read from a few members on here that ordered some from Year One and compared to originals that they were flimsy plastic. Not sure if the originals were metal or fiberglass or what...I have not seen original or repop in person to compare.

Do you have an original that you can share a comparison with against the repops?

The originals were metal. Someone does repop them in fiberglass too and I would avoid those. I have metal ones and they seem to be a solid piece. Norm Brady at the Crossram connection makes quality parts. I'm sure others here will have opinions on that.

Thanks for the pdf that shows what I'm looking for too. Looks like they sell them in singles and also with the Holley modified base. I can't believe someone replied to this post with the info I needed within 20 minutes of my post. You made my day! Thanks again.
