Warning PG Classics headrest 70 Charger bench seat

Bought a set for my 70 Charger bench seat. They DONT NOT go in. You need to remove the short rod bracket and ream it out ,long rod is fine. I noticed on 70 the headrest has only high and low setting. They do not go all the way down. Both headrests are the same and only one way in. I do not think they are made to come out but I have heard people saying just yank them up hard. Just wanted to tell you my experience and Mike had to do the same on his 70 RoadRunner.

Mike had the same problem on his 70 RR,chances of us both getting the wrong headrests I would think would be slim.

Look to me like the angle of the cut for lifting the headrest is wrong.....way too steep for the spring clip to slide up as it should.

No I dont have a caliper ,but will have my friend do it this week.

I’m done with that for now. I’m onto prepping the SRT-10 panels for my truck. Prep. Prime. Paint and clear.

I’m going to replace the front bumper cover too.

I saw an SRT 10 in the wild a few weeks back.

These were the fastest production trucks ever built. The 2 door manual trans truck was capable of 154 mph.

Part of that was the Aero package.

Most was due to the nearly 500 cubic inch V-10 from the Viper.
I want my truck to look like the SRT-10.

Hi David,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Over the weekend after seeing your email we had staff go in and check stock. Upon inspection we have realized that this issue is only with our newest batch (phew!) which was made last winter.
The stock that we have from early 2023 is all good! I have attached a picture to show you.
