I'm looking for a good quality aluminum water pump. This is the one item that I haven't been able to find from a trusted namebrand other than Mopar (which is a lot of money for a water pump). I've looked at HRH, PRW and 440 source which I believe are all made in China. So, which ones have you guys found to be good or bad. Thanks guys

Any local autoparts store, and not one of the aluminum jobbies.... I think most of the ones from local parts stores "Napa, etc" are Re-Man which means Made In The USA......

But you had issues too,,,, remember???
I just dont like fiddling around making things right on a new part that should have been right to begin with...
I do love your setup though!!!!! Very nice Mr Itis........ LOL!

Yer right, but that was a pulley problem when I shortened up the pulley, then found the impellers were contacting the housing.A new waterpump after 20 years ain't too bad.

i have used 440 source and PRW both have worked fine no issues

I swear when I still glance at your screen name it still looks like HEMITITS. I guess that could be good though, right? I mean anytime you think about tits.....

Hemi tits. I just can't quite get that in my mind lol.

I mostly use a stock type pump. They don't weigh much more than a aluminum one but if you're looking for every ounce counts, then go for it.

Only here would I post a question about water pumps and it get turned into tits, oh well tits are great. The only reason I was wanting aluminum is because at this time I have nothing so if you have to start from scratch why not go for the lighter more appealing looking pump. Thanks

That's what I say.Leaving it bare makes the aluminum easier to keep clean:pimp:
