Hello everyone I have a 66 Plymouth belvedere with a 440 . I want to put a fan clutch on it but there isnt enough distance between the front of the water pump pulley and the radiator. Are the pulleys the same? Any help would help. Thank you billy

That pully has to stay the same for belt alignment. If you need more room, that spacer looks to be over 2 inches.Shorten that one or get a shorter one.

I took that into account with the space gone they're still not enough room

Pulley shouldn't change the distance from the water-pump snout to the radiator. There's a locating pin on the front of the pump, that the pulley slides over. That's further out than the pulley.

Ok thanks for the info. I measured the distance . and with the fan mounted on the clutch there just not enough room

Sometimes around 190 , 200 in the summer

I hope I am not off base. Are your measurements made for a thinner clutch fan like the 2765 Jaguar fan or equivalent?

The 66 was not designed for the use of a clutch fan. With the proper fan and radiator there should not be a heating problem.

Will an electric fan fit in the space available?

ECS was the pro on water pump pulleys. Too bad he took his pulley and left.
