G/Day fellas

I am swaping my running gear out of a Valiant Hardtop (1969 Dart) into a Dodge phoenix (Dodge 440 sedan)

The Hardtop has run a best of 12.1 @ 113mph
So Obviously I am curious of what I could expect from the new ride.

Any Idea of the comparason in weights?

Thanks

According to shipping weights the B body in something to the effect of 200+ lbs heavier than the A body.
So i guess the answer would be......slower ETs

I don't know what a 440 Sedan is but, Your valiant, you compared to a 69 Dart, The 68-69 Dart chassis is the legendary fastest drag car chassis in the history of the world. I'm not kidding, The Hemi Darts from the late 60's are into mid 8's now. Super Stock drag racing is dominated 100% by the Dart and the Barracuda (same chassis) All they do is race each other!! nothing else even comes close. Do some research online lookup SS/AA drag racing. The special rear springs are still available new. I would run what you have..These Hurst Hemi Darts were a special race only package from the factory, with a fiberglass nose and an aluminum engine they pulled consistent low 10's right off the truck. Cheers, Elvad.

I read an article in a Car Craft mag years ago, the theory was......for every 400 lbs you can gut out of the car the power/weight.... gain/loss is equivalent to 100HP (as a general rule of thumb).
This might give you a rough idea of what to expect.

Thanks for the replys.

Might have to shove a 150 shot in it.

cheers
