Anyone ever visit the Wellborn Car Museum here? Planning a trip sometime this spring, and want to know if its worth the ride to check it out?

It's AWESOME! Pam and Tim Wellborn are great people and enjoy having people come there who share their love of Mopars!
I've been, I'll go again, and everyone should at least once!

Right now they are open Saturdays only. Well worth the trip, he rotates his cars regularly. If you visit this month, next month you will see some things changed. I posted about the show in Alexander City last weekend and the Museum is exactly where it was. Enjoy, but be sure its Saturday.

Tim does do some tours himself. Also yes, on the private tours Tuesday-Friday. There is a minimum number of people required, but special consideration is given if you are a long distance away and can't do a Saturday. I'll PM you 2 contact numbers so you can make arrangements.

Here's some pix from when I went. It was a special event. Car show and tour. Detroit Muscle was there, and had just picked up the Hard Charger project car, which was parked right next to my Roadrunner. Me and my car actually made the show on TV.

Yeah it's a great stop. The cars and the place are nice. Take your time a lot to see.

We took a vacation down south from Toronto a three weeks ago and made the trip to the museum. Stayed just down the road for a couple of nights and went on Saturday. Well worth it, lots to see and I felt like the staff treated us like family. Two staff members walked us through, told us some great stories and I will go back again some day.
