Last week, we had an extra day and decided to go check out Wildcat auto in Sandy, OR. Lots of cool stuff, and they are pretty easy to get along with. They do sell whole cars and have lots of projects. No Chargers though...

Its a pretty fun place to explore and like I said, they are good people. Prices are fair and its not overly picked over. A lot of the trim, lights, etc... not on cars, is in their buildings. They also have a lot more project cars not shown. It was kind of hard for me to get around with my back so jacked up. I can't wait for surgery...

Hope you enjoyed the pics...

If you call them, tell them you seen the pics on Forbbodiesonly.com

Lotta nice C bodies in there too bad there's so much double parking going on

I'm planning my next vacation...:plane:

I don't think there were any road runners.

If anyone wants to go, I would be glad to go out with you. Its a fun place and its way off the beaten path.

just read this over @ DC.com... cool auto wrecker.... lots of Mopar's

thanks for the pics. I called them a while back on that deck lid off that 77 charger Daytona and they told me 350 for the lid and 200 to ship it. I was like wow , thanks anyway

I found one in town for 45 bucks

Been there myself to get some '68 Fury parts. Nice guys but they don't take any prisoners with their prices. Which I'm fine with but when some of it is junk, I think it's a bit too 'spensive. But I suppose of you need a git-zil-flib and they have the git-zil-flib you need, then you pay to play.

Jeremy, thanks for the pics. Sorry to hear about your back. How did you hurt it?

That junk yard is a destination. I could seriously imagine a vacation where i send the wife out for a pedicure and i spend the day walking that yard. Or days.

I work as a service adviser and pulled a car onto a lift, and when I got out I stepped on the lift arm. As I lifted my self out, the arm moved as it wasn't all the way back like I thought. I twisted funny to catch my balance and popped my back. A few days later I decided there was something really wrong and went to the doctor. After the MRI came back, the Doctor came in to tell me the news and I could tell it was bad. I ruptured my L3 severely and basically pushed the L4 out. It is hanging down almost touching the L5. So its pretty brutal. But with pain pills, I get out a bit. I have to or I will go crazy sitting here. Plus if I don't, my back locks rite up.

I have heard that from a few people. It must be that their prices are better if your standing at the counter vs shipping. I will tell you they do great business. The first time I went there, I bought a 70 Scamp rear bumper with lights. After I got it home to Utah, I found one of the tail light housings was broke and we didn't notice. They shipped me one out at no charge.

Yeah, I could spend a day or three wandering around there.

Yes you could. There is so much to see. The pics don't do it justice.

Somewhere in that yard, Christine patiently awaits her next love.

Wow, great pics! Thanks for sharing. I hope you get some relief soon. Back pain sucks.
