What’s this fitting called?

The fitting going from the stock trans cooler line to the AN fitting that allows the AN fitted lines to be attached?

It’s been flawless and leak free so I’m thinking to use a similar fitting for my 3/8 factory fuel line to an AN line to a fuel pressure regulator with return line.

I'm guessing it's a flare fitting, but may also be a compression fitting.

It appears to be a male to male adapter. Cruise around a Summit or Jegs catalog and read the descriptions. Educate your fine self!
