I'll give you .60 cents a pound for them! LOL haven't seen a pair of those in a very long time! What are you planning on doing with them?

valve covers

going to sell them i have no use for them, just never seen a set before.

SCRAP?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Holy hell, send them to me -- I'll make them look better than new. :D Nationwise Rod Shop was Gil Kirk's place out of Ohio. If you truly want to sell them 72 BLUE, then let's talk.

pulled them off this evening the drivers side has a crack by the front lower mounting hole.have a sale pending but buyer might change his mind with the crack,cudachick1968 is next in line if the first buyer falls through.

I'd like to see a couple close ups of the crack inside and out if you can before I make up my mind. Thanks!

Edit: I clicked your Thanks button too -- because honesty and integrity are appreciated more than you can know. They are sadly lacking in too many people these days. :D

That's what the tig welder is for.

I dug this up because I have a set that are identical in stamping and are marked "Chrysler 779" inside as well. The difference that I have is the is no "NRS" in the center pad. I am wondering if these were made by Gil prior to joining up with Nationwise or possibly just a later set that became generic. The stamping is the same as this set which was for sale here a while back. Any info out there?

I have just finished painting and have yet to sand the ridges.

BTW:
As the OP asked about the Coors Beer Can:
In the 60's "WE" would take a soda can or Beer can and cut it up and wrap it around the coil.
My 69 SC/Rambler has a "TAB" soda can on it as I purchased it from Chicago Illinois.

The few mess it up for the majority!!

NRS = Nationwise Rod Shop. Hadn't seen a set of those in many years.

I always found it amusing to see people pay to advertise for a company. Vintage stuff is another story.
