What brand of tire came on a 67 Coronet RT?

Goodyear Cushion 7.75x14. Redline or white line (wall). I have one R/T that had redline and another that optioned for white wall.

775-14. My 67 GTX with the original spare was a Goodyear redline on a body color steel rim. On the ground were Magnum 500's. It still had its second set of tires on the ground until last week.

I don't know the brand. But my 67 R/T still has the original paint inside the trunk. There is crayon or marker written on the underside of the lid saying "775 RED". I am pretty sure that designated what tires to install on the assembly line.

Just curious, big bad.... was yours a lynch road assembly ? My 69 has the same tire size marking on the bottom of the trunk. It also came with goodyear redlines (only tire available on my car).

my org. tire sticker tags in a 68 RR
are really faded out now, it says F70-14 7.75-14
2 stickers one under leftside of the trunk lid, other rightside
say;
Gillet Wide Oval 70 Armor white/black
it had Road Wheels originally 70 series with raised white letters

I don't know about where it was assembled. Quite honestly, I have never thought about it. How do you tell? I have had this car since 1977, and know what dealership it was sold at.

I could answer that question on a 69 (maybe!), but a 67 fender tag is way different. I dont know about the vin. Mine is RM21M9A, the "A" meaning lynch road. Seventh digit position is assembly plant, at least on 69 up.

Big bad, i think your vin will tell you. I tink your vin should be WH23L7?xxxxxx. The ? would be your assy plant, but a number, unlike mine which is a letter.
Seventh digit 1 is lynch road, 2 is hammtramk, 5 is L.A., 7 is St. Louis. There are others.

WS23L711..... (Coronet R/T, 2 door HT, 440, 1967.) I didn't know about the 7th digit, so it looks like Lynch Road. Thanks for the info.
