From my 1970 Satellite. Its a 6 pin connector that mates to the body connector but its not related to that circuit.

Its got only 5 wires (I think—BL, WT, TN, TN , BR) and I can’t locate on any of my schematics.

Thanks! MF

Can’t say for sure but looks like a radio plug. Where was it spliced in?

I think I just figured it out. The colors don’t match the schematic perfectly which confused me. But I believe it is for the AC/heater vacuum control. It has female spade connectors on it that should go to that control unit and the 6 way connector to the harness! Wire tracing can be a real puzzle lol

71/74s don't use that plug anywhere but just on body harness. So is not really from that car, not factory at least.

This is how the control switch looks from behind so you can see the prongs aligment

Control unit is upsided down, but you can get it.

The A/C harness plugs straight to this control with no other intermediate harness AND diff from earlier units, wires are not solded to the control, having a pigtail hanging out around. So the harness plug is SPECIFIC for this control unit.

The cable I was asking about was an intermediate that plugs into the harness and had the matching spade terminals to the control unit you show. I believe my harness is original and so are the connectors. In fact I just found it looking at the schematic clearly shows this.

For 71 B body? That diagram is incorrect.

the plug you show is used on 68/70 B body A/C control, maybe some others too, but trust me, there is not 71/74 B body using that...

The reason to use that plug on 68/70 is because is imposible to reach the control once installed to get the control unit plugged so it gets this pigtail to reach the dash frame area able to connect the control switch. On 71/74s the control is accesible to get the control switch directly plugged by its own harness without a pigtail attached

This is 73/74. 71/72 is pretty much the same, but diff disposition on lever controls.

so you can see how the diagram doesn’t match with that diagram

Should try matching up 50 year old wiring colors when you're shade blind lol

71/72 front face.

Also, lever blower switch is a diff piece, not part of that control switch.

My bad typo! This is for a 1970 sorry Nacho!

oh! That’s different. Then that’s right! That plug is used as a pigtail for the AC control unit. Wire ends must be solded to the control unit prongs
