Just bought mine.

Fixed the 3 speed manual column shifter on my 67 Coronet 440..it broke inside where it shifts the gears.and is an impossible part to find..,so I drilled out 4 holes on the side of the shifter column/sleeve nearest the arm and attached 2 rad.clamps around the center sleeve and bolted them in place. its holding. but got to be a little bit gentle w/her, but,none the less its working.Ya...ill send some pics to show what I did.somebody might need this info to fix one of theres also...its ingenius...I thank the Good Lord for the idea...ps...67 440 2dr.HT.slant six 3 on the tree....Bear R.-:jerk:

Fitting carpet and putting new u-joints in. Hopefully have it back on the road this weekend.
