What do we know about American Powertrain Mopar big block bellhousing?

They are priced at $439 brand new. Some reviews say the starter fitment can be an issue.

I don't have any experience with that bell housing, but starter fitment can probably be solved with a die grinder. I don't think that it's anything that you can't overcome with a little ingenuity.
 
Today I found out the Brewers is making brand new reproduction aluminum bell housings with the big bearing retainer hole. They have rings to adapter a smaller bearing retainer to the new large hole bell. American Powertrain has done the same thing with the rings. And the new bell only costs $400. People are asking up to $800 for an original 50 year old bell.
