What do we love more?

Haha, sitting here getting ready to get started on my day, and this idea came to me; we need a thread to put our thoughts/memories and perhaps situations where we were deciding what we love more; our MOPARS, or, our women (assuming that most of the readers here are hetrosexual men), but, of course to be 'inclusive', this could go any which way!

For me, well I personally own 3 MOPARS, my wife and daughter own a new Charger and Challenger respectively. For me it's really really REALLY hard because if I'm pissed at my wife (it happens), and we then drive somewhere in her Charger R/T, when I fill it up with premium gas, that thing runs like a raped ape! No more anger, in fact, she's now pissed because I drove her car 'hard', when I barely hit 5k RPM :edgy: So, for me, I have little wiggle room because we are so MOPAR oriented.

I am sure for many guys out there, retreating to their shop/garage to wrench on our MOPARS is a joy, it's escape from the 'Honey Do' lists!!!

Dodge
- does not talk back
- never complains
- is turned on by a key
- gains value the older she gets
- has issues hardly ever (which turns into excuse to drink beer & Garage time)
- requires gas, oil, and some TLC to run smoothly
- does not judge
- Everyone wants a ride
- Puts out just by pressing the gas pedal

Wife
- loves to talk back
- complaining is hereditary trait
- turned on by expensive jewelry and $100 dollar dinner bills-takes keys away
- wrinkles up and sags over time
- issues (always on the daily schedule)
- requires backrubs, expensive gifts, constant attention..ect..ect..
- strategically judges for leverage
- wanting rides turning into bar brawls
- puts out after blackmail or 4 shots, 3 beers and a mixed drink (27 dollars)

I'm sure I'll hang onto them both till I hit the dirt

My car. It gives me what I want without a fight. My wife someone take her PLEASE!!!!! Almost 24 years of marriage is about to end because of her.

Women like to control everything at least my wife does and she is starting to realize that I can't be controlled.Seems like she would have learned that 22 years ago.

Must be something in the water.

May be a shocker, but I'd have to choose my wifr. Here's a good 2 good examples why. By 1985 I had spent years working on old MoPars with rust and dirt falling in my face, and wished I would have been around back in the day to buy a brand new b-body and just keep it like brand new. I think all of my friends had the same dream. I decided that I would do just that with what was available at the time. I started saving for a 1986 Shelby Charger. Put in a lot of overtime, and set aside every cent towards the car. Late fall I got a call from the Dodge dealer telling me Chrysler had discontinued the car, but he had a friend that could pull some strings. When my wife got home I told her I had to place the order tonight. That's when she broke the news that she was pregnant for our first kid. I did the responsible thing and told her I'd skip the car and save the money. Shortly after, she call the dealer and had him order the car. That's a good woman!

Second time was the night I woke her to tell her that I had found my Satellite on eBay and had to buy it right then. She was upset, but not for the reason you'd think. She was upset because she had been searching for the car for as long as I was. She had a dream that she would find and buy the satellite and I would find it in the driveway with a big bow on top! Not bad.

I know, it's a thinker, but, I too would go for the flesh of a good woman! But the cars are the best retreat when the heat gets turned up in the kitchen!
