aew-3387-9850_w.jpg I'm still searching for the right rims, or should I say "the right rim for the right price". I originally liked these but after seeing them on several cars kinda lost interest. I think the reason I didn't like the look on other cars is because they weren't deep enough. With Chargers having a centered axle they will have a good bit of depth making them look the way I want plus I can afford them 195.00 each. The grey centers are a perfect match for the greys I'm using on my hood and tail light panel. What do ya think

nice wheels/rims

:iamwithstupid: I like the 5 spoke wheels, with grey centers & chrome or polished outers... here a couple more I like... from American Racing Wheels & Crager...

I really like the salt flat ones, wonder how they would look on a Charger, I actually looked into the Cobra wheels but they scream FORD I know, I know, I'm the one using a mach scoop.

too funny... yeah I really like the salt flat wheels too, I think they will look great especially if you have the wheel wells filled & have the proper back-spacing & get some tire in them Big A$$ Wheel wells... the so called scream Ford Wheels are somewhat patterned after the original Cobra wheels, that were made for all cars & not just the Shelby's or Cobra's, before they were used on Cobra's & who really cares as long as they look good, hell they used Magnum 500's everyone loves so much on MoPar's on Fords too...LOL...

i like it, they look good. theres a blue 68 charger with 18" salt flat wheels on google i just cant find the pic anymore it looked really good.

is your diff stock length? if so and if running 10" rim, i recommend a 5.6" backspace if they do a custom backspace, as this will put the rim closest to centre and avoid the inner lip and outer/inner fender bulge

I have been checking craigars ss out but the price has scared me here in Canada I got a price of $387.00 each and that was from some one I know I hate to get the price from some one trying to make big money off of me. So I am now looking at other brands was thinking I may have to wait until Carlasile, but could I get them installed at the show or some where close by, because I am thinking I need to put them on to make sure there is nothing wrong with them. Is this a dream?

If you can get the right backspacing it will add the depth you want, and I think these ones would fit the style of your Charger really well.

love the torque thrust look.been copied many times for a reason.

:iamwithstupid: Agreed!

Budnicks beat me to it but Summit Racing wouldn't be to far out of your way, besides a visit to they're store is pretty impressive anyhow. I live pretty close to them and do a ton of business with them "couldn't ask for a better supplier". They're in Tallmadge, Ohio off I-76 which is only about 10-`15 minutes off of Interstate 77.

Not too Shabby!

Ever think about the MB Old School's?

I was actually looking at these today, not real crazy about the circular shape of the centers but other then that they look nice. The wheels I pictured are 9.5" wide and 18" (widest they make) and have a backspacing of 5.3 which I'm not cray about (I would like 4.75"). If I understand correctly the rim width is measured from inside lip to inside lip making these 10-10.5" wide depending on lip thickness. With that backspacing and that width tire I'm pretty tight about .5" "not good". Benno, "no fender bulge hear" while I had the quarters off I dealt with that they are straight up now and my diff is stock (measures 7" in and 7" out). Thanks guys

those would look KILLER on my Javelin. thanx for the idearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

You know Dawg that the good old stand by of the Magnum 500 Road Wheels will look awesome too. The can be had quite inexpensively both new and original that just need some TLC to bring them back. In my opinion you cannot go wrong with a set of them...Tuck

I actually really thought about the new billet versions of those but they are very pricey and don't come in the size I want, go figure.

I called summit today prices are better than i am getting up here, they said they would install tires and valves for free So I am considering taking a detour on my way to carlasile, in July, how far would this take me out of the way down or how much driving time would it take? If I pick them up there at least I would be sure of getting the right fit, I hope. I would put them on car in their parking lot. Good idea or not?

Canadian I'm not from that area, been there quite a few times, but someone more familiar with that area of the country, could tell you much better, how far off the route it could/would/should be, not a bad idea thou, especially if your going to be in the area & have the room to haul your old wheels to the swap meet, while your there in July... but I live in Central Calif. foothills 2000 miles away... I get the bulk of my stuff mainly from the Summit Racing Website & most all of it comes from their Reno Nevada Warehouse or store out here, only a select fews things ever, come all the way from the Ohio/Summit Warehouse facility, to out here... It's hard to beat Summit & Jegs for pricing on most anything, I buy from either of them or Mancini Racing in Clinton Township/Detroit area, Michigan, for many of the other MoPar Performance &/or restoration/race car related, high quality parts...

I mapquested it today, your directly north of PA so yes it will be a little out of your way. 8 hrs for you to get to Summit and another 5 1/2 hrs to get to Carlisle, according to mapquest it would take you 9 hrs 15 min to get to Carlisle and 13 hrs 28 min if you stop at Summit on the way, an extra 4 hrs. Hope this helps, I can tell you from personal experience that they are great to deal with and have great prices. Good luck

cll-9182154545_w.jpg These are sweat and have the perfect backspacing, did I mention they are 520.00 each. I really like these, not to many running this style and I don't like to blend in.
