what grade of bolts for rear upper shock crossmember

i have several bolts,but how can you tell what grade bolt it is?

Grade 8 has 6 raised hash marks on the head. Take the number of marks on the bolt and add 2.This will give you the grade.

the bolts i have has three raised hash marks plus two,these are five grade bolts are they strong enough for rear shocks?
