I have Indy 440 EZ heads on an RB in my 67 Belvedere. Using solid Moroso engine mounts, no motor plate or midplate. Anyone know what headers will work? I know Hooker 5209 will not.

The indy EZ heads are a standard non raised port head.Any header setup for that body style will work.I know the TTI fit real well in the 66 and 67 bodies with that head.

Headers

How large of tubes do you need ?? 1-3/4" or 1-7/8" or 2" ?? do you want bolt type in mas produced ??, coated or not/raw ??, what kind/size of starter &/or flywheel ??, what kind of oil pan ??, what kind of steering & box ??, what kind of trans & shifter, column or floor ??, do you want low end torque or high RPM's ??, all can make a big difference in the fit & whos headers can or will work... For fit, TTI or Dougs or Schumacher Creative Services stepped, tri-y's & Mopar specific, others cheaper types Doug Thorley, Flowtech, Schoenfeld {maybe not sure}, Hedman long tube or shorty, maybe a different set & style of Hookers, Gibson {maybe not sure}, Summit or Jegs house brands {maybe}, better brands are in bold... For real racing headers & components, look for merge collectors, 4-2-1 collectors, stepped headers, they aren't cheap, but can be made to fit your exact needs, car &/or engine, from top to bottom ,Dougs 383raw -440coated -440raw -440coated, under side fit TTI's 1-7/8"'s on a 68 -69 Charger 440, Schumacher Tri-y pass side -SCS tri-y's -SCS drivers side, SCS motor mount shims....

What is the issue with the 5209 fitting your car?

Only got as far as the pass side and when I couldn't bolt it up due to #6 tube being stuffed into the inner fender I put them back in the box for return.
I had the same headers on this same engine with Eddy Performer heads and they worked beautifully. The reason I bought the EZ was so the exhaust ports and headers wouldn't be an issue.
