I now own 3 transmission cross members for my 68 Barracuda and 68 Charger. One A body version had small bolt holes and so did the B body version. Thanks to you all telling me the holes were larger on the 68, I tried the bolts from the A body mount, with the larger holes, on both the Charger and the Cuda...and they both fit. Aha! You all were correct. The holes for both the A and B body were larger in 68. The small bolt A body cross member is apparently from a 70 Dart GT and the B body from a 70 model. I confirmed this with mega parts and a body shop guy who specializes in Mopars. I'll go ahead and keep the 70 A body because I have this theory that if I buy a significant part for a car I don't have, sooner or later the rest of the car shows up (it worked with a box of ammo but that's another story). So, my question is, does anyone have a 68 Vintage big block (383 or 440) automatic transmission cross member they will sell after I get paid on June 28th?
P.S I'm not even going to begin describing the amount of work I put into the B body one taking it down to bare metal and removing all infestations of rust or grease (there were few).

I sent you a PM with my particulars. The Mega parts bolt kit says 66-68, I got it, and they are the right size. Large diameter. But a 69 should work too. Let me know if my pm to you didn't go through. I am getting pretty good at cleaning these things up.
