I hate dyno mat you ever try to remove it, terrible stuff... I don't mind the factory stuff, get all the pieces, firewall, headliner, juke, and I put a layer of double wrap insulation under the carpet no glue.
I restored a 68 charger and the guy who did the car before me put dyno mat everywhere inside the doors, quarters, trunk, firewall, stuck it to the inside of the console, in the dash board, even behind the back seat, it was a mess, it had to cost him $1000, lol...
Worse part was I couldn't remove it and he painted an original red car a try coat pearl white, lol.. I tried blasting it, freezing it, solvents, ended up heating it and scraping, and some of it got masked and painted around lol..
in my experience, if you do all the factory stuff- firewall insulation, kick panels, carpet, juke, headliner, trunk divider, door plastic sheets, and then add a bit of double wrap (I use 3m double sided tape to hold it in place) inside the doors, quarters, trunk, dash, where ever you can fit it, it works as good as dyno mat...
