My understanding of a drip rail is that part of the roof above the side windows. I know I removed a chrome/stainless molding from there before painting my '72 SSP project car (and have not yet put it back on).

Looking at DMT gasket package for a repaint, I found the following included in the kit:
"(4) rolls of drip rail/weatherstrip channel seal (NOT rubber weatherstrip)"

I wonder what those rolls are for exactly? Thank you.

edit:

Here I found a description of the seals (I'm still not sure what they are talking about):
Description
OEM style material drip rail and side vent window seal kit for all 1970 to 1974 E bodies (Barracuda, Cuda, Challengers) and 1971 to 1974 B bodies (Charger, Coronet, Roadrunner, Satellite)
This kit consists of 4 rolls of material for each side of the car

- (2) rolls of 1/8"x7/8" black poly foam to seal between the weatherstrip channel and the roof,
- (2) rolls of 1/8"x3/4" dark gray soft foam with adhesive to seal the weatherstrip channel to the drip rail.

It's the foam gasket that goes on before the stainless mouldings that holds the rubber moulding

Anyone have a picture? It's been YEEEEAAARS since I removed mine and the trim. I know I'll need help to know which one goes on first and how, etc, etc.

These goes on the lip (underside) then the trim?

I just put mine back on. If you only removed the chrome strip under the drip rail that held the rubber weatherstrip you will only need the gray foam tape. It goes from end to end on the back side of chrome strip between drip rail and the chrome strip. The other black foam tape went above this between roof and drip rail. I did not remove mine when I tore my car apart. On my car the drip rail was painted the same color as body and had a few phillips head screws securing it to roof. Saw no reason to remove it. Depending on how far you disassembled this area you may not need it either.
