what is it REALLY worth ?

shooting for opinions , what does one of these things go for these days ?

good running 383 fresh out of a running and driving 68 dodge 2 wheel drive pick-up. forged crank, drilled for a manual trans. truck had 78,000 miles. edelbrock performer intake, electronic ignition distributor , 906 heads. complete minus carb/alt/ps pump. no smoke, no noise.

I think $500 it would sell fairly quick. Looks like it has HP exhaust manifolds which might up the price to $600?

$500. is a good # for a Used motor. It's not like it's a #'s motor for a one off !! Plus it's fair to the byer if he need to go over it .

If you have video of it running would help. Other than that I would list it on craigslist at 600-700 and see who calls.

thanks for the opinions guys, I thought 500 was a good number , I listed it for 400 and not one call. I don't have a video of it running, its kind of a "take my word for it" kind of deal, but it does run good.
